    Ed started Moose Audio in 2010 and cut his teeth in the film and tv industry industry working on lifestyle TV shows for H Squared and WTFN whilst helping friends with their short films in his spare time.

    Over the course of 15 years Ed has work on virtually every kind of production from feature and short films to documentaries, reality, commercials, live events and podcasts, as well as audio post-production.

    Whether he is travelling around the world on shows such as Survivor and The Amazing Race or staying in his hometown of Melbourne, Ed loves the thrill of being on set and recording great sound.

    When he’s not working Ed can be found at home playing guitar or drums in his home studio or chasing his dog “Moose” around the backyard.

ENG and Documentary

Ed specialises in run-and-gun style shooting that is typically practised in documentary, reality and magazine television shows. Despite the mobile nature of ENG shooting, Ed’s state-of-the-art equipment offers powerful performance including multi-track recording, IFB comms, long range wireless mics and the ability to keep rolling all day no matter what challenges are thrown at him.                     

Film and Commercial

If your production is more complex you may prefer a cart-based setup. This can include things like large scale wireless mic and multi-track recording, in-ear monitors for talent, IFB comms for crew and multi-cam timecode sync with digital slate. He is also a very skilled boom operator with a large collection of premium microphones. With Ed’s experience you can have peace of mind that your shoot will run smooth and sound great.

Podcast

With the world of podcasts having exploded in the past few years it is more important than ever to have yours sounding slick and professional. Ed offers a complete start-to-finish podcast service including recording, editing, sweetening and noise-reduction, mixing and mastering to correct loudness specifications. Having worked on hugely popular shows such as The Misfits and The Tennis, Ed can make your podcast sound its very best.
